Arnie is a very gentle giant of a dog. St. Bernard has been the loyal companion, friend and playmate of a loving family living in a rural area. He enjoys exercise in the wide open spaces.

St. Bernard’s are known to be loving, gentle and patient.  They are a good with children and other pets and are eager to please. This makes training a breeze, although it should begin early.  St. Bernard’s are known for their drooling, which may be why this family chose to get one mixed with the Bernese Mountain Dog who doesn’t.
