Pugs are good for first time dog owners. They are great house pets who do not need a lot of exercise, and very little maintenance, pugs are the ideal condo dog. They are usually good-humored and childlike, always to preferring to be near you. It is difficult not to spoil a pug as they can do a number with the big sad eyes, bug if you persevere and not give into too many treats they will remain sweet and charming. They are usually good with other animals.

There are easy maintenance requirements for pugs, a they have very little shedding, like most of us they like to go for a walk outside, but only if it isn’t raining. They will live to 15-17 yr old and amuse you for years with their clowning antics.
