I paint animal portraits, wildlife, and landscapes — each piece inspired by the unique spirit and beauty of the world around us. Animals captivate me most. Their personalities, quirks, and quiet wisdom are what I love to bring to life on canvas.

Whether it's a cherished family pet, or a striking animal from the natural world, my mission is to create beautiful and stunning artwork that celebrates the personality, spirit, and emotional connection  behind every subject — offering you a one-of-a-kind portrait that feels personal, heartfelt, and timeless.

I love to capture the spirit of animals using the vibrancy and texture of  pastel or the drama of scratchboard. I have gained professional status in both mediums. Signature status with the Pastel Artists of Canada and Active status with the International Society of Scratchboard Artists. Both organizations continue to inspire me to greater achievements and help me to remain current with techniques.

Their are many samples of my work on this website but, my favorite is my portrait of my dog Tucker. I painted him from a lucky photo on the bow of our boat — sunlight glowing around him as he proudly stood lookout. It captured his spirit perfectly.
